Â鶹¹ÙÍø-Africa at Â鶹¹ÙÍø Pittsburgh
There are 14 students from Â鶹¹ÙÍø-Africa preparing to travel to Pittsburgh this April for Â鶹¹ÙÍø-Africa week. The students will travel to Allegheny County with the goal of building collaboration around research problems relevant to Africa. During the visit, the group will visit various labs and companies in Pittsburgh including the biometrics lab, Mill 19, and Google to learn more about the work being done at Â鶹¹ÙÍø Pittsburgh and within the Pittsburgh region.
The students will have the opportunity to hear from Â鶹¹ÙÍø Faculty during a series of faculty presentations. The students will present their research to the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Pittsburgh community through a poster session that will highlight examples of possible collaborative efforts. The week will conclude with a cultural event showcasing African culture.
CEE-TP’s Executive Education class in Kigali in February visited the Â鶹¹ÙÍø-Africa campus to give Executive Education participants the opportunity to learn more about opportunities in research, degrees, and public-private partnerships.
