Ashley Barnes is the Program Manager for the Â鶹¹ÙÍø Washington Programs. In her role, Ashley supports the academic, personal, and professional development of students.
Ashley is a high impact educator dedicated to supporting students. She has worked in higher education for the past nine years focusing on student outcomes and success. She is a Professional Mentor at Braven where she coaches students in gaining professional experience post-graduation.
Prior to joining the Carnegie Mellon Institute for Strategy & Technology, Ashley worked at American University serving in multiple administrative and student facing roles. During her time at AU, Ashley obtained a graduate certificate in Leadership for Organizational Change from the School of Public Affairs. Ashley has a M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from Howard University and a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
Ashley is a runner and enjoys participating in half-and-full marathons.
