News Brief: Â鶹¹ÙÍø To Test Instant Replay to Smartphones at Super Bowl

PITTSBURGH—Â鶹¹ÙÍø Professor and electrical and computer engineering students will be testing multi-camera instant replays to smartphones at the Super Bowl this Sunday, Feb. 2 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
This is a first for , a technology developed by Narasimhan, an associate professor of electrical and computer engineering. She developed the idea of YinzCam after teaching novel sports technology classes at Â鶹¹ÙÍø. She predicted that the NFL would continue to use technology to benefit the game and fans.
