Aleksandar Petkov
Senior Program Manager
Aleksandar Petkov's work focuses on supporting Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø startup founders from the very beginning by helping them navigate the multiple programs, resources, mentorships and connections available through the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Swartz Center ecosystem. He is the primary events, access, and space coordinator for the Swartz Center for Entrepreneurship startup space, located in the Tepper Quad, which is a home to more than 400 startups and hosts over 150 events every year.
On the programmatic side he manages the Gebhardt Sandbox Fund, which is in it's second year and has already supported more than 50 Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø student founders at the idea stage. In tandem, he manages the Tartan Entreprenerus Fund which helps fund and support later stage Pittsburgh based Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø faculty and alumni startups with unicorn potential. He has also helped launch and currently manages the Swartz Center Patron Program.
In the past he has helped support major events inlcuding LaunchÂé¶¹¹ÙÍø and the Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Swartz Student Startup Showcase as a part of Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø Startup Week.
Aleksandar graduated with a B.S. in Psychology from Georgia Institute of Technology.
