Secure AI Concentration
As artificial intelligence (AI) continues to evolve, there is a growing demand for skilled cybersecurity professionals who can navigate the opportunities and risks it poses.
The Secure AI Concentration is intended to provide MSIS students with a structured pathway to a focused set of skills that are highly relevant to careers in AI and cybersecurity.
Through INI's MSIS program, Âé¶¹¹ÙÍø is designated as a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Opperations (CO) and Cyber Defense (CD).
Requirements
The Secure AI Concentration is available to students in the M.S. in Information Security (MSIS) program. Through this concentration, MSIS students complete the set of courses below as part of their MSIS curricular requirements. The following courses are required:

Compatibility with Study Options
The Secure AI Concentration can be completed within either study option (Standard or Advanced). If you are in the Standard study option, the concentration will fulfill all 48 units of program electives. If you are in the Advanced study option, you may have up to 36 units of available program electives if you select Secure AI as your Area of Concentration. If you choose to complete a master’s thesis or development-based project, the Secure AI Concentration will fulfill all 48 units of program electives.
